It's just me

I WAS TAGGED. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME, AND TO BE HONEST…IT WAS PRETTY FUN TO DO. I TAG: ZACC, AMBER, RILEY, BRITT. Riley...you can't include anything about the Ninja Turtles, or underwear. We already know that. 7 Things About Me.

1. I am a night owl…and an early bird. I love seeing sunrises, and being up early (when I have enough sleep) and I love staying up super late regardless of whether I am tired or not. What makes both of these things better of course is the company you’re in. Some of the best conversations I’ve ever had were with friends at 2am. On the other hand…I’ve shared some indescribable moments with family and friends at the crack of dawn.

2. I love capturing moments with my camera. I think it is honestly one of the coolest things. It’s a miracle that we take for granted. I think our memories fade so easily, but one picture can help us recall a thousand things all at once. Photography can freeze time, it’s kind of like magic to me

3.I believe in love, and being "in love." I just don't believe in falling in to it. I think it can be magical and whatever else, but I also believe it's a choice, a choice both people make. A choice that may have to be made more than once, maybe even a thousand times.

4. I laugh at inappropriate times. My laughing spurts sometimes turn into "laugh attacks." As hard as I try I cannot control my laughter. I'm still working on it...it's a constant battle. I figure it's gotten me into trouble one too many times that I better at least try to stop the madness.

5. The biggest personal pet peeve I have is that I find it so difficult to expose my emotions to those who are close to me. I don't always express what I want to, or how I want to. When it comes to emotions I find myself thinking too hard rather than just letting myself feel. Sometimes I want to just be a little kid again, and when I feel like crying, or laughing, or throwing a fit...the louder the better :) haha.

6. Learning about other cultures, traditions, customs, and lives of others has always been fascinating to me. Traveling is one of the greatest blessings that I have had, and I feel that it has taught me the most. When I experience new places, and see another part of the world I feel more satisfied in general. Yet...in all my traveling and with all of the new people I meet, I have found that nothing has or ever will compare to being at home with my family.

7. One way that I deal with stress is hanging out with the little people in my life. My nieces, nephews, the orphans in mexico, other random children….  There is something about their spirits. They could care less about labels, where I graduated from school, how much I make at my job, who I hang out with. They care that I am spending time with them.

5 Things that make me sMiLe:

1. Eating cereal out of my giant I lOVe NY cup.
2. kisses…and hugs.
3. Reading Kaed's messages on the bathroom mirror.
4. Trying to get my mom to eat a skittle.
5. Being with the kids in Mexico

Wow I am sooo impressed you did this! Glad you had fun and glad I got to learn even more about you. Please see my comments to each thing you wrote. Maybe I should post this to my blog since its been a while...no, I'll just do it for you.

1. Yea I think our most memorable moments at Snow were late Thursday night, except when we got the stopping on the ceiling from our roommate...that was a little scary that we pushed her to that point. I miss those late night extravaganzas. Remember when Sheena was an early bird...or maybe it was a night owl...when she ate 3/4 of that birthday cake we left sitting out?

2. You're right...never thought of it that way. You take some seriously cool pictures. I've been meaning to talk to you about this. You know those little sayings you take pics with that are on a little piece of silver...I was thinking we could take some cool ones with Kaelyns little hand holding one of those inspiring words. Where do you get those?

3. You are soooo right. Love is a choice. People say all the time that they just "fell out of love" with their spouse and I think its a bunch a junk. Like you said they chose not to nurture their relationship and keep it up to the point that they forget what they once had.

(I wonder how long blogger will allow a comment to be? I guess we'll find out here)

4. I LOVE your laugh attacks. Please don't scare them away. I used to have them at inappropriate times and as embarrassing as they were, "In seminary when it was my turn to read a scripture...and another time when I was playing the piano" But I miss laughing like that. And I miss laughing with you every day...and especially having you laugh at me, even when I wasn't really that funny, you made me feel funny and that was "the life".

5. I'm telling you, have a kid and those emotions will start exposing themselves. You will cry at commercials with touching music and anything else that moves. Its kind of nice, but a little scary too:)

6. Diddo

7. I told Kaelyn about this one and she asked if she could be one of those little people in your life..so come over ANY time.

5 things that make you smile
1. Like that smores cereal...or do you even like that kind or were you just setting me up to eat a piece of Ashley's pottery clay because I thought it was one of the marshmellows sitting on the counter??

2. With a certain ??? someone???

3. Thats cute.

4. Sounds exciting...and a little dangerous.

5. You're awesome! I wish you millions of dollars because I know you would use it to help others:)

Okay, I'm done. :)

I don't care about where you went to school or how much you make either and yet you don't hang out with me...hmmm. Plus, Stephanie once told me that the only reason little kids like me is because they don't know any better. I think that's true of you to.

#2: I love this about you, and not just because I steal your pictures.

#3: I agree with most of this, but I don't agree that love is always a choice. I've really tried to love some people, I just couldn't. However, I also believe in love...for other people. I just gave up on believing it would ever happen to me again.

#6: Some people might call this running away from home.
